As a Rumie Learning Designer, I am part of a virtual team of volunteers working together to create accessible "Bytes" or bit-sized microlearning for a worldwide audience. To date, my Bytes have been read by over 30K learners. The publishing of a Byte involved:

• researching an approved topic

• using concise text, images, and interactive content such as quizzes to create the course 

• peer-reviewing fellow volunteer's Bytes

• self-editing my work and preparing it for publication on the Rumie Learn website
